Chocolate Fest 2012 a huge success!

The Episcopal Church Women of Trinity, Newark hosted a fabulous Chocolate Fest on April, 21, where guests of all ages enjoyed tastes of amazing recipes created by 18 gifted bakers representing eleven different churches from Cambridge to Cincinnati. Thanks to this year’s sponsors, the wonderful silent auction offerings contributed by people throughout the diocese, online bidders, people who came and people who sent donations, the event raised almost $15,000!

Congratulations to Nancy Fouts and her planning committee, with heartfelt thanks for this enormous contribution! The proceeds will power ECSF community ministry grants throughout the Diocese. We are so grateful to this year’s Chocolate Fest sponsors: PNC Bank, the Church of Ascension and Holy Trinity, Aglamesis Brothers, and Madisono’s Gelato!

ECSF’s grants budget comes from freewill gifts throughout the year: your gifts make the grants! We welcome donations at any time from church outreach committees or vestries, special collections, youth groups, businesses, and individuals.

Coming up: Bike Fest! Cycle to Break the Cycle of Poverty August 18
